NFL Highlights: Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers will play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 of the NFL Schedule on Sunday, September 17, 2017, start time at 4:25 PM ET, at CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington. His touchdown pass to Richardson proved to be the difference, but he'll need to step up a lot bigger in the next few weeks if the Seahawks have any plans to make any noise in the NFC throughout this season.

Recent trade acquisition from New England, Justin Coleman, also looked good in the nickel last game.

The 49ers last won at Seattle in 2011, and it looked like they might do so again Sunday once they went ahead 9-6 on Gould's 40-yard field goal with 11:36 remaining.

Carson finished with 93 yards on 20 carries. The Seahawks missed the extra point, however, leaving the door open for the 49ers to tie the game with a field goal when they got the ball back.

The Seahawks started at their 12 with 4:47 to go.

Last week against Carolina, a single trip to the end zone wouldn't have been enough.

LANE NOT FINED FOR EJECTION: As the fines from last weekend's National Football League games began to be revealed Friday, one name was missing - Seattle cornerback Jeremy Lane.

Still, despite the pressure Wilson was under and how inaccurate he was throughout the game, Pete Carroll stuck with the pass. Wilson threw the ball 39 times, and the Seahawks didn't shift to a hurry-up offense until the fourth quarter.

It seemed like an eternity before the Seattle Seahawks scored their first touchdown of the season. Just ask Colin Kaepernick, who accounted for eight turnovers in his first three starts there in 2012-13. He posted a 48.2 passer rating. Reid was approximately 30 yards away from the ball on a deep Wilson pass attempt when he sustained the injury.

Stockley shot Anthony Lamar Smith five times after the chase and claims he saw Smith holding a gun before the chase even started. Stockley and his partner, Brian Bianchi, drove up behind Smith's Buick, and a chase ensued that lasted around three minutes.

Graham, other senators introducing health care plan
After September 30, this option disappears and both houses need a 60 percent majority to pass any new health care bill. The version he introduced during his 2016 presidential run was supposed to cost an enormous $1.4 trillion annually.

Still, Hoyer never got into a rhythm. Both of these teams lost their opening games to Green Bay and Carolina respectively, as they combined for four field goals. How did they grade in key areas of the game?

San Francisco's final offensive drive lasted only three plays because Seattle linebacker K.J. Wright dragged down San Francisco's Garrett Celek 3 yards short of the first down with five minutes left.

To avoid that weekly fate, they're going to have to get turnovers and turn them into points, get something out of their special teams and manufacture points there, cross their fingers that Blair Walsh gets himself straightened out ... and hope Russell Wilson can be Russell Wilson every week. Hoyer didn't see Bobby Wagner in coverage, and he threw it right to the Seahawks middle linebacker. Quarterback Brian Hoyer completed 24 of 35 passes for 193 yards with one interception.

"We'll see how that fits together", Carroll said.

The 49ers' candidates: Jimmie Ward, Jaquiski Tartt and Lorenzo Jerome. He made two of them run into each other. Tank Carradine and Arik Armstead also recorded sacks. His first incentive kicks in an immediate $250,000 if he rushes for 800 yards in 2017.

- Ray-Ray Armstrong drew a late-hit, out-of-bounds penalty in the third quarter. Armstrong was briefly benched for Brock Coyle in the first half after he blew a couple of assignments.

The 49ers play the Rams in Los Angeles on Thursday.

NaVorro Bowman led the 49ers with 10 tackles. This was his third game back since a January 2014 knee injury.
