Deshaun Watson's Debut As A Starting Quarterback Was Pretty Impressive

"Just settling down, trusting what I do and not trying to do too many things at once".

How bad has the Cincinnati Bengals offense been to start the season?

The Texans' offensive line wasn't great, but they were good enough and it certainly helped that quarterback Deshaun Watson can move around the way he does.

The Bengals' offense was stagnant once again Thursday night, falling to the Texans 13-9.

The two sacks tied Atkins' career high, which he had recorded five other times. I'm all in on the Deshaun Watson era in Houston, and last night made me even more pumped.

Coach Bill O'Brien was impressed with the way Watson handled the game considering the team had such a quick turnaround before playing on Thursday night. The Texans faced a 3rd and 15 when Watson would take off and run for 49-yards and the touchdown with just 0:50 seconds left in half.

Coming off embarrassing home losses in their season openers, both the Texans and the Bengals are looking to get on track in week 2.

Bengals vs. Texans: Will there be more sacks than points?
This line opened at Bengals minus-3 and has doubled since, and that's because the Texans figure to be undermanned and overmatched. Deshaun Watson started at quarterback for the Houston Texans against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football on KPRC2.

Indians tie Major League Baseball record with their 21st consecutive win
The Indians shut out their opponents seven times, which is equal to or more shutouts than 18 teams have had all season. Indians: 2B Jason Kipnis is pushing to return Sunday after being sidelined since August 23 with a strained hamstring.

Seahawks versus Packers week one
Wilson struggled with timing on quick passing plays in the past, but it's something he worked on in camp to improve this year. That was all the offense the Packers needed. "I feel like I can remember any of the good rushes that I had", Fackrell said.

Coach Marvin Lewis said prior to the Week 1 game that Ross could play after returning to practice, however he was made a game-day inactive. Watson is expected to get the nod under center over Tom Savage, who got the call last week. So what can we expect?

The score put Houston ahead 10-3 before the half at Paul Brown Stadium on Thursday.

After becoming the first National Football League team in 78 years to open the season with two home games and fail to score a touchdown in either, the Cincinnati Bengals made a change on Friday - but it wasn't at quarterback. "He's going to make some mistakes, and it's on us to keep working with him and minimize his mistakes and get rid of them, not repeat them". Still, Dalton's history tells us this is unlikely to become a trend. Defensively, the Texans are yielding 29.0 points and 280.0 total yards (125.0 in passing and 155.0 in rushing).

Fantasy owners, if no one else, want to see how this is going to shake out. Given how dominant the Ravens' defense was, we don't know much more than we did before the season.

Looks as if more work is in order. But will Hill vulture goal-line carries? And it won't get any easier; the Bengals now head to Green Bay.

Watson's first start, coming on his 22nd birthday, was a straightforward one and his passing game will require work having nearly thrown a couple of early interceptions, but he provided the game with its only major highlight.

They are certainly much better than how they played last week.
