This year students in the county had mixed fortunes compared to the national figures.

It's open 24 hours a day, and uses keywords to assess the student and requests details of their results before making them a provisional offer.
Almost all the students have achieved their first choice University placement.
Overall, 92% achieved 2 or more A-levels. A marked improvement on last year's results, Principal Simon O'Connor told Khaleej Times. Matthew Buckingham, Asia Choudhry and Izzy Oughton all achieved three A grades.
There were also 423 students who obtained university places.
This year, six students gained the top grades of Distinction* in all three of their subjects.

Nearly three quarters of students were awarded A* to C grades (72 per cent).

And coming out on top in his cohort was BTEC student Ryan Mortimer who secured four A* equivalent grades.

At Toot Hill College, Bingham, there was a 100% pass rate. For some, it will mean a green sticker on their envelope because they have done so well that we want to take a quick photo.
