New leak reveals cases/covers of the Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung is jumping the digital virtual assistant bandwagon this year by bringing 'Bixby' to its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8.

The variants of Galaxy S8 are anticipated to be of 5.8 and 6.2-inch models. According to a recent report based on tests conducted by South Korean product safety watchdog, faulty batteries caused the fires in Samsung Galaxy Note 7. And, what has taken off on a higher note is the apparent bokeh effect on these samples. The rear camera is pegged to be 12 megapixels with a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

Like their cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to have the same hardware capabilities.

The Galaxy S8 will not be introduced at the MWC 2017 at the company's February 27 event; however, Samsung may show off the handset to a select few. This makes sense, as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was favoured more as compared to the standard version with several estimates showing that nearly 70 per cent of all Galaxy S7 sales were accounted by the Edge variant.

If you're desperate to check out the Samsung Galaxy S8 before its probable March debut, this new video render may sate your appetite.

Samsung's Galaxy S8 smartphone won't have the typical home button, and the fingerprint sensor will be placed next to the camera's lens, recently leaked schematics suggested. A 3000 mAh battery would be in charge of keeping the lights on. The bottom of the phone contains a 3.5mm earphone jack, Type-C USB port and a speaker grille. It should sport 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The previous Samsung tablets included a slot in the body of the devices that could store a stylus. Samsung didn't level out the back panel completely, perhaps so that users could distinguish between the fingerprint sensor and the camera when holding the phone.

A few weeks back, the Samsung Galaxy Android 7.0 Nougat update report just revealed that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge would have the Nougat treat soon after the S7 got update. We'll finally know for sure at the Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month. Galaxy Note 7 smartphone is submerged in water to demonstrate the water-resistant capability of the device during a media event in Seoul, South Korea, on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016.
